The Story Teller

The gift of stopping time to remember where we once were is priceless. Displaying, sharing and archiving moments of our life with others connects us to one another and it is in that connection that we can feel inspiration, love and unity. I believe this to be true and I do what I do to help families capture and feel this for themselves ; it feels good to be a small part of a whole.

Born and raised in Southern California, I am a self taught photographer.

I have always loved the art of capturing life’s fleeting moments. My adventure from a hobbyist, simply documenting my own family's life, to a business owner, where I now have the honor of documenting the lives of my clients, has been a fast, humbling and an exciting transition. I truly love what I do!

I think pictures are a very important way for us all to tell our stories… to remind ourselves and one another who we once were and who we are now… to be proud of our own, individual, unique stories. I believe that it is in our own writings and in pictures that we will be remembered. Everyone deserves to have images that capture who we are and memorialize that special part of each and every one of us.

My shooting style is laid back and fun. I try very hard to shoot organically and authentically, seeking true raw emotion. I call them photographic expereiences. I often let my clients inspire me and together we create timeless images that honestly reflect who they are. I love the sun and crisp warm luminous images, and I think quality images far out weigh quantity. But, more than anything I feel a great sense of commitment and pride in my work. Capturing images for clients and their families, that will leave a legacy and help tell a small part of thier story, is an honor that I do not accept lightly.

Creative, passionate, deeply loyal, hardworking… I am a wife, mommma, fierce friend, dog lover, and volunteer. I am a sun gazer, lover of color and the outdoors, music lover, dreamer, and DIY-selfer, tell-it-like-it-is kind of girl, and I am a story teller.

“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”—
